It’s Wolverine week here in Fortnite, but we’ve got some other challenges to work with too. It’s a pretty straightforward week, with no location-based challenges or much else all that interesting to work with. But we’ve still got to level up that battle pass, and there’s one in particular that isn’t hard per se, but can still be a total pain. You’re going to have to find a legendary fish.

I wish there was much advice that I could give in you in a more straightforward way, but unfortunately all you’ve got to do is a whole ton of fishing. Land somewhere by some water, ideally one of the larger bodies. Look for a barrel with a fishing pole in it, retrieve said pole and get to fishing. Just keep on doing that until you see a legendary fish, and do your best.

What I will say is that you will probably have an easier time if you think of this challenge as your main focus for a given match. It could take a little bit to snag one of these, so land far away from the battle bus and try to pick an area with access to as many fishing spots as possible: this may have been easier when the map was flooded. Regardless, you may have to spend a considerable amount of time fishing to get something legendary, or you might get lucky: the most you can do here is try to avoid getting shot in the head while you do so.

We’re coming now to the end of the season, and I’d expect to be hearing more about the live event soon. We’re now positively swimming in Marvel heroes, but its the formal arrival of Wolverine that should be ushering in the events of the end. The secret skin usually does that, after all. I have a feeling everything is going to be Sentinel-related in some way, because Wolverine has been involved with them an awful lot. But we’ll see: this promises to be a big one.
