FISH AND GAME OFFICERS HAVE RECOVERED THE BODY OF SINEAD LYONS’ DOG LYONS AND HER DOG, A GERMAN SHEPHERD, WERE REPORTED MISSING IN THE BEGINNING OF MARCH AFTER VISITING OSSIPEE LAKE. LYONS’ REMAINS WERE DISCOVERED ON MARCH 26. AT THE TIME, HER DOG HAD NOT BEEN FOUND, BUT TODAY, FISH AND GAME WAS ABLE TO USE A REMOTE OPERATED VEHICLE UNDERWATER TO FIND THE DOG NOT FAR FROM WHERE LYONS WAS DISCOVERED. Dog belonging to woman found dead in Ossipee Lake recovered by Fish and Game
On Saturday, Fish and Game was able to use a remote-operated vehicle underwater to find the dog, not far from where Lyons was discovered

The dog belonging to a Massachusetts woman, whose body was recovered last month from Ossipee Lake, was also recovered from the lake Saturday. Fish and Game officers recovered the dog belonging to Sinead Lyons, a woman from Massachusetts, whose remains were discovered on March 26 and at the time, her dog had not been found. On Saturday, Fish and Game was able to use a remote-operated vehicle underwater to find the dog, not far from where Lyons was discovered. Authorities hope it brings some sense of peace to the family."Family had made arrangements to have the dog cremated, so shortly after we recovered the dog, one of our officers brought it to the funeral home that was going to do that," said Lt. Bradley Morse with New Hampshire Fish and Game. No foul play is suspected in Lyons' death.
