Firefighter rescues girl’s pet fish from house fire

A girl and her beloved pet fish are safe Friday after a fire broke out in their Northampton home.Northampton Fire responded to a report of smoke in the basement of a home and found heavy smoke and an active fire. Firefighters also saved the pet fish of a little girl who lives in the house. “She was so happy and relieved to know her fish was safe,” Northampton Fire posted.The fire was knocked down quickly and no injuries were reported, Northampton Fire said.
